The Earth is a Living Intelligent Being

Old energy is moving away, a new transition is happening; we can all look at this new path and open our hearts to follow.

What we consider to be the real world is being re-evaluated. We need to think and learn how to shift our dependencies from the systems we now depend on, to each other and the Earth Mother.

It is time for man to accept that he is not in charge. The forces and powers that have been functioning for thousands of years on the Earth are in charge of the Earth.

We need to learn to blend with Nature rather than try to conquer it. The Earth Mother is a living power in Creation, which native people have always acknowledged.

There is an ancient Indian Prophecy which says: "The time will come for little sister to speak; then the grandfather will answer and the Earth will be washed clean".

On May 18th 1980, Mount St Helens, known as " little sister", erupted, and an ancient mountain known as the grandfather started to steam, Mount Rainier.

Perhaps now is the time to start thinking and learning from the systems we've created, which have driven progress in various forms. Is the Earth showing us it is upset, with all the changes in the weather, flooding, earthquakes, fires, and extreme movement of the Earth and global warming?

We all live on this Earth, no matter where on its surface we are; it is all we have for now, so let us all take the time to think and take action. No matter how small, it will build when you share your actions with others.

I thought I would share this blog because, for many years, I've been making small changes, and this week I made another. For many years, I have used a sponge to wash my dishes (it is made from plastic). I saw similar washing aids made from plants, which can be washed in the washing machine. When the time comes for a new one, they can be cut up for the compost heap or recycling bin.

Every change is a choice we make, for ourselves and Mother Earth.
