Meditation and Mindfulness

Meditation has been shown to help many people with all kinds of mind and body disconnection. These can be through medical or a physical imbalance; being mindful of your breathing allows you to focus on both areas in unison.
Meditation can be as short as three minutes. I do one called the Bagha, and if you would like a copy, please use the contact page. Time is always a factor mentioned when thoughts flow to meditation: can I spare the time, how long should I sit, what is the best position to use?
It can be for three minutes or even a minute, and you can build upwards for a longer period if you wish to expand further. There is no requirement to sit in the lotus position or even crossed legs; the position that is most comfortable to you is the one that will help you spend more time in a relaxed state. Other seated positions may come in time.
Mindfulness is a form of meditation, with a focus on the here and now and how what is going on around you blends with your senses at that moment in time. Where often agitation and upset can be triggered by outside or surrounding noises or issues, at that moment, it can flow out of control or even become rigid in your mindset for a while.
Allow your mind to rest for a minute in meditation, or refocus those thoughts with a new picture or colour, or even alter the other senses, such as touch, smell and that inner jolt, empower the calmness and feelings of value to yourself.
Meditation can be silent or with soft music playing in the background. You can use a guided meditation, which I love, and they are available to read in the magazine and shortly as an audio link.
Please do get in touch with me if there is a particular form of meditation that you would prefer and feel comfortable with. All meditations will soon be available via an audio link, or you can opt to receive a few on a memory stick.
Chakra Clearing, Rebalancing, Crystal Cave (recently featured in the magazine), Meeting Your Guides, A Journey Into Healing, Rainbow Fall, and many more.
Do send me a message, and we can discuss the meditations.
